I had a busy and fun filled weekend this past weekend….and this coming weekend is shaping up to be just as fun, if not more.  I am making friends, I am putting myself out there, I am exploring Denver….I am even dating someone.  OHMAHGURD!!

Thursday, I finally had the opportunity to meet up with the cousin of a friend from high school.  Brigitte was so sweet to shoot us a PM on Facebook suggesting we meet.  And I am glad we did.  I met Tyler and her husband in their uber cute neighrborhood between Cheeseman Park and Cherry Creek.  We set out on a walk to find cinco de mayo fair for dinner.  But we ended up here http://www.bombayclayoven.com/zgrid/themes/11796/intro/index.jsp and it was SUPER yummy!!  I had so much fun chatting and eating….I hope we do it again soon!

I had received a text earlier in the week from Wendi’s cousin Marc.  He was meeting some old co-workers out for drinks Friday evening and invited me thinking it would be a good opportunity to meet some folks.   We met up here:  http://www.irishsnug.com/.  Everyone was soooo nice.  Great company and conversation.  I even made a new friend! She and I are going to hit up Orangetheory together or grab a drink soon.

Saturday marked four weeks since my arrival in CO.  It went by without much thought though.  I am just glad I am not crying in the fetal position every night.

Saturday RV (the new guy) and I brought Thai in for dinner and watched a couple of movies.  Sunday we went to brunch and he even came back over Sunday evening to finish a movie.  If you know me….too much time with someone is a killer.  But so far so good.  We are supposed to hang out again tomorrow night and then he is taking me to my first MLB game Friday night, CO Rockies and the NY Mets.  He’s a Mets fan.

I have a pretty full schedule this weekend starting Thursday evening, and I am excited about it!  Including a hike with my cousin on Saturday who I haven’t had an opportunity to see since the first weekend I arrived.
