I met up with Jenny (my friend Emily in Richmond introduced us before I moved out) yesterday afternoon for a stroll around Wash Park.  It’s huge!!  So much space and so many people.  Supposed to be great eye candy on certain days of the week when there are multiple games of volleyball in play.  And the weekends too with pickup basketball.  I think Jenny and I may make this a habit….at least I hope we do.

Of course I was NOT appropriately dressed for the massive size of this park…but I will be next time!

Then we headed over to http://blackbirdpublichouse.com/ for happy hour and to grab a bite.  A stout and this pork belly BLT hit the spot!!

Tonight I was supposed to go with RV to the Rockies vs. Mets game, my first MLB game.  I could throw a rock from my apartment and hit the stadium.  But I have been feeling under the weather all week and of course today was the worst.  So I stayed home.  Womp womp.

I got some Claritan today, and it helped.  I can’t figure out if this is a cold or allergies.  But I am determined to go hiking with my cousin tomorrow!  So, night all.
