The Friday night before Memorial Day, Kathyrn and I went out for dinner and drinks…ladies night style.  She has been super busy with school and I have been traveling, we really haven’t had an opportunity to hangout much.  We went here:  http://hapasushi.com/ for dinner.   And it was yummo.  It wasn’t AMAZING…but it was good.  We ate soooo much I felt like I was wadding out of there.

We left there and walked over to Union Station.   I feel like I have told you all about Union Station before, but it is the train station here in Denver and has been completed redone to be more upscale.  With this renovation they added restaurants, shops, an ice cream parlor, a pastry shop and dropped a bar right in the center, Terminal Bar.  The train station boasts couches, high back chairs and tons of mid century modern pieces to make it inviting for folks to come, have a drink, socialize and stay a while.  Complete with table top shuffle board.  It’s generally packe Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights and the people watching is pretty amazing.  It’s 5 blocks from my apartment a favorite go to.

We may have headed home around 11:30…but damn it, it was a fun night!!!
